One Week In Florida
I'm going to the Gulf Coast for a week! Yay for the elimination of winter pastiness.
I *was* gonna mobile blog, but the cockfaces at Sprint didn't get my Treo 650 here in time... and I'm *not* fucking going to pay $40 + some exorbitant "initiation" fee to get my 600 up and running again for a month. So - I say to all 10 of you that visit here - don't be surprised if I don't post next until the 18th or 19th. Unless, of course, the Sprint cockfaces got the thing to my doorstep tonight while I've been at work... but no one called me to let me know that I got a package, so... eh.
Did I mention that the people at Sprint were cockfaces?

And what really sucks, beyond anything that has ever sucked before this - since Sprint absorbed (or, whatthefuckever happened...) Nextel (which I've had for 7 ys) I've been getting bazillions of "new phone ads" in the mail.
Nothing will change, except my bill will go up. Time for a new service provider. Of course, being in Michigan (neighbor), once I cross the Mackinac Bridge I can toss it into Lake Michigan because it is useless.
By the way... found yer blog on Mia Culpa. Recognized the Scorpio personality right off - takes one to know one.
Funny you mention that you work for the VA. I was in the western U.P. for a couple weeks with my best Bro (also a Marine), and we came thru Milwalkee, to the VA Center there for his appt. We just looped thru Chicago on the way back here to Lansing, where I live. Speaking of shitholes...

As for Sprint/Nextel... I waited in O'Hare for my dumb jumper flight back home yesterday, and I must've heard that annoying *blip* that those fucking phones make when people are blabbing in walkie talkie mode... the Chinese Water Torture must work similarly.
